Goals and Objectives

Demonstrate proper patient positioning

Identify the anatomy of deep veins in the lower extremity

• Sapheno-Femoral junction and associated artery
• Branching of the deep and superficial femoral vein and artery
• Popliteal vein and artery

Demonstrate proper compression technique to assess for thrombosis
